We are a small team of talented professionals with a wide range of skills and experience. We love what we do, and we do it with passion. We look forward to working with you.
Shawn Foran
Cubmaster and Bear Den Leader
Shawn Foran became involved with Pack 68 in 2021 once his son became old enough to join the Lion Den. The following year, Shawn took on the role of Tiger Den leader to help guide the den on their journey of scouting. Shawn was in Cub Scouts throughout elementary school on Long Island New York. His family relocated to Brookfield, Wisconsin in 1993, and he continued Scouting here. He joined Troop 56 in Brookfield affiliated with Dixon Elementary School, completed Pine Tree leadership training and earned his Eagle Award in 2000. Some of his hobbies include Fishing, Golfing, Hiking and Biking. Shawn works as a Senior Manager of Internal Audit for CVS Health supporting the Aetna portfolio of businesses.
Emily Brezinsky
Committee Chair, Communications Chair, and New Member Chair
It was only a matter of time before Emily took on a leadership role with Pack 68. In September 2020, Emily accepted the position of New Member Chair. Bubbly and friendly, Emily loves to help new scouts feel welcome within Pack 68 and to make sure all new family members feel supported and seen. Emily also serves as Committee Chair and Communications Chair. Since childhood, she has been passionate about writing – even teaching Advanced Composition before leaving the professional world – and takes pride in a perfectly crafted story, anecdote, or handwritten correspondence. When she gets a spare minute, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children, Wyatt, Flynn, Crosby, and Waverly; hiking; having an uninterrupted cup of coffee; and cheering for the Milwaukee Bucks.
Leah Reimer
Chartered Org Representative
Leah joined the leadership team in 2022. A devoted and caring person, Leah jumps in wherever she is needed to lend her time and talents. Pack 68 has been able to run its programming partially because of Leah’s hard work as Fundraising Chair. When her son crossed over into Scouts BSA, Leah transitioned into a new role with Pack 68, Chartered Org Rep. As a member of the Orchard Lane PFC Executive Board, Leah was a natural choice to fill the Chartered Org position. When she isn’t keeping all these organizations afloat, Leah can be found up north with her husband, Brian, and their son, Levi. Catch them hiking, biking, or taking out their ATV’s. And if Leah needs a little quiet time, she may steal a moment or two to crochet something beautiful.
Andy Brezinsky
Webelos Den Leader
Andy’s journey with Pack 68 began like so many others’ — as a parent tagging along to meetings with his oldest son, Wyatt. Wyatt joined the pack as a Tiger in 2019, and Andy quickly became an active parent volunteer in the den. The whole time, Andy’s younger kids were watching from the sidelines waiting for their turns to be Cub Scouts. Come September 2020, Andy’s second son, Flynn, was a Lion Scout whose den needed a leader. From then on, Andy has been a passionate member of the Pack 68 leadership team. Beyond his responsibilities as a Den Leader, Andy has taken the lead on our annual Pinewood Derby. This event perfectly aligns with Andy’s scouting skills and his personal hobbies of woodworking, engineering, and technology. A father of four, Andy is proud to have two sons in Pack 68. The Scouting journey with his family continues at the Troop level: his son, Wyatt is now a Tenderfoot with Troop 38.
David Ziesemer
Wolf Den Leader
This is David’s third year on the leadership team. He volunteered right away when his son, Michael, was a Lion. Since joining Pack 68, David’s favorite scouting memory is serving as color guard for the Milwaukee Milkmen – stepping on the field and holding the flag while a stadium of fans sings the anthem is powerful, for sure. David grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but he was looking for a change and eventually made his way to Wisconsin. An avid sports fan, David’s heart is still with the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, but he has become a Milwaukee Bucks fan.
Brianna Hawthorne
Tiger Den Leader
Brianna is entering her second year as a Den Leader for our Tigers. Growing up, Brianna was a Girl Scout all through grade school at New Berlin Center – a school since replaced with Ronald Reagan Elementary. As a mom, she began attending Pack 68 meetings with her oldest son, Jeremiah, and his Tiger Den. When it came time for her younger son, Josiah, to enter Kindergarten, Brianna took the opportunity to become his den leader. Professionally, Brianna works two jobs: one as a secretary and one serving New Berlin with the Veterans Memorial Society. In her spare time, Brianna likes spending time in Lake Mills, going to the beach, and exploring area bike trails with her boys.
Beth Zierke Puhl
Outdoor Activities Chair
Beth grew up in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and she found her way to the Milwaukee area when she decided to attend Marquette. This decision led her to a fulfilling career as a physical therapist, helping people to feel and be better. Over the course of her adult life, she’s become proud to make New Berlin her home. Scouting runs deep in Beth’s family. She began as a leader back in the early 2000’s when her younger brother, Mark, was a Scout. Mark went on to achieve Eagle with Troop 299. Meanwhile, Beth also helped her father who was a member of both Den and Troop leadership with 299. She continued this tradition with her sons, Alex and Zach. Just like she did with her brother, she joined Alex’s den and Pack 68 at Webelos Camp in summer of 2024. Outside of Cub Scouts, she continues to be an active member of her kids’ and their friends’ lives, coaching NBAA soccer. In her personal time, she loves to be outside, hiking, fishing, and enjoying her family and friends.
Jess Perkins
Awards Chair
Jess has spent her life living in New Berlin and making the community a better place. A graduate of New Berlin West, Jess, and her husband – an Ike alum! – chose their hometown as the place to raise their family. Three kids later, Jess and Al are pros at balancing soccer, baseball, basketball, Cub Scouts, music lessons, school, and more, all while taking on active roles in their kids’ activities. Jess’ natural kindness, warmth, and joy make her the perfect fit for the Pack 68 leadership team. There is nobody better suited to celebrate our scouts’ achievements as Awards chair. Outside of juggling life leading a family of five, Jess is able to sneak in some soccer and up north time when she’s able to find a few moments to take a break.
