The Pinewood Derby gives Cub Scouts an excellent way to learn about craftsmanship, sportsmanship, and respect for others through friendly competition. Scouts build their own custom race car out of a standard block of wood before racing it down the track using nothing but gravity. The Pinewood Derby is one of the highlights of the year.
